House Rental Management System Using PHP MySQL with Source Code

The House Rental System is a simple web application develop in PHP MySQL database using JavaScript, Bootstrap, HTML, CSS, Ajax and Modal. The main purposes of the system is to manage the payment of the tenant and monitor the house rental. The system contain of admin and staff, the admin can manage all information of the tenant like edit, update, delete, and check payment and accept, and the staff can manage like admin but different access.

House type, Houses, Tenants, Payments, Reports, and Users.

House Type

Category Form, Category List, Show Entries, Edit, Delete, and search.

Houses

House Form, House Number, Category, Price, House List, Show Entries, Edit, Delete, Search and Number of Entries.

Tenants

List of Tenant, Number of Entries, Name, House Rented, Outstanding Balance, Last Payment, View, Edit, Delete, Add New Tenant, Show Entries, and Search.

Payments

List of Payments, Number of Entries, Date, Tenant, Invoice, Amount, Edit, Delete, New Entry, and Search.

Reports

Monthly Payments Report, Rental Balances Report.

User

Show Entries, Number of Entries, Name, Username, Search, Edit, Delete, Update, and Add New user.

How to setup this project

Step 1st. Download xampp

Step 2nd. Text editor notepad++ or Sublime

Step 3rd. Download the zip file/ Download winrar

Step 4th. Extract the file and copy “house_rental” folder

Step 5th. Paste inside root directory/ where you install xampp local disk C: drive D: drive E: paste: for xampp/htdocs,

Step 6th. Open PHPMyAdmin http://localhost/phpmyadmin

Step 7th. Create database name house_rental_dbl

Step 8th. Import house_rental_db.sql file given inside the zip package in SQL file folder

Step 9th. Run the script http://localhost/house_rental

Step 10th. Password: Admin: admin: Password: admin123
